Julia Grossi is a German photographer. She was born in Berlin. Julia fell in love with photography while working and traveling the world in her twenties. She studied photography at Lette-Verein Berlin. Her editorial work has been published in magazines such as Vogue Italia to Sleek, GQ, Glamour, Oyster, Material and Fräulein.

Julia is in her element when working with people, preferably women; she captures the character and beauty of her subjects and brings these naturally to the foreground. Over the years her playful use of light and unusual and unique compositions has given her images a sculptural appeal. Julia has a keen eye for visually interesting locations and likes to work them into her pictures. While being very organized when working, she is equally spontaneous and relaxed when interacting with her subjects. Having worked in the fashion industry a decade, she remains passionate and continues to push her creative boundaries. She recently started to work as a freelance teacher for photography at the AMD school for design.

Julia Grossi lives in Berlin with her photographer husband and two children.
